Outreach / food bank

The Holy Trinity Parish Food Bank is open to our community neighbors Mondays and Wednesdays from 10:00am - 12:00noon.

The Food Bank hands out bags of non-perishable groceries, as well as bread and other essentials (based on availability), to all that come by. We require a name and home address for our records from anyone taking food.  We can serve our homeless friends as well. Families may get a bag of grocery staple items whenever needed.   We are an all-volunteer organization depending on the donations of local stores, larger San Diego food banks, and the generosity of our Parish and school families.  Our inventory varies quite a bit. We do offer fresh produce provided by the Feeding America program on Wednesdays and beyond  - based on availability.

If you, or anyone you know, may need a little extra help making ends meet, please stop by our Food Bank.

We distribute out of the main entrance of the Parish Hall.

prayers & squares

Prayers & Squares is an interfaith outreach organization that combines the gift of prayer with the gift of a hand-tied quilt.

The purpose of Prayers & Squares is to promote prayer through the use of quilts.

Each knot represents a prayer - As each knot is tied, a prayer is offered for a person in need – someone who has asked us to pray for them.  The finished quilt goes to that person as a silent testimony to our belief in the power of prayer. These quilts truly can be called “comforters".

Prayers & Squares is NOT a specific faith based ministry and is open to all peoples. Our quilts are hand-made with love for anyone that requests them.

Our quilts have gone all over the world!!

Holy Trinity's Prayers & Squares Quilt Ministry meetings are on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of every month

from 10am to 1pm in Conference Room in the Parish Hall.

pro life

The pro-life movement seeks to end legalized abortion in America and restore legal protection to the pre-born. Volunteers from Holy Trinity parish focus on participation in 40 Days for Life, an internationally coordinated 40-day campaign that aims to end abortion locally through prayer and fasting, community outreach, and a peaceful all-day vigil in front of abortion businesses.

By the grace of God, 40 Days for Life has achieved a stunning track record of life-saving results since launching in 2007 and has become a worldwide movement in 63 nations with over 1,000,000 volunteers.

knights of columbus

We are Catholic men who lead, serve, protect and defend. We share a desire to be better husbands, fathers, sons, neighbors and role models and to put charity and community first.

Our History - Service and charity are at the heart of the Knights. Founded to meet the needs of immigrants, refugees and families suffering from the death of a breadwinner, the Knights began as a small service organization and has grown into a worldwide financial and charitable organization.

Our Mission - Together, we’re empowering Catholic men to live their faith at home, in their parish, at work and in their community.

Our Faith - Our goal is to help men, their families and their parishes grow closer to Christ. Through our programs and resources, we provide opportunities to live and spread the Catholic faith.

The Holy Trinity Knights of Columbus meet the 2nd Thursday of every month at 7:00pm in the Parish Hall.
