Outreach / food bank
"For I was hungry and you gave me food"
The Holy Trinity Parish Food Bank is open to our community neighbors on Wednesdays from 10:00am - 12:00noon.
The Food Bank hands out bags of non-perishable groceries, as well as bread (based on availability), to all that come by. We normally require a name and home address for our records from anyone taking food, but we serve our homeless friends as well. Families may get a bag of grocery staple items every other week. We are an all-volunteer organization depending on the donations of local stores, larger San Diego food banks, and the generosity of our Parish and school families.
If you, or anyone you know, may need a little extra help making ends meet, please stop by our Food Bank.
We distribute out of the main entrance of the Parish Hall.
prayers & squares
"I was naked and you clothed me"
Prayers & Squares is an interfaith outreach organization that combines the gift of prayer with the gift of a hand-tied quilt.
The purpose of Prayers & Squares is to promote prayer through the use of quilts.
Each knot represents a prayer - As each knot is tied, a prayer is offered for a person in need – someone who has asked us to pray for them. The finished quilt goes to that person as a silent testimony to our belief in the power of prayer. These quilts truly can be called “comforters".
Prayers & Squares is NOT a specific faith based ministry and is open to all peoples. Our quilts are hand-made with love for anyone that requests them.
Our quilts have gone all over the world!!

Holy Trinity's Prayers & Squares Quilt Ministry meetings are on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of every month
from 10am to 1pm in Conference Room in the Parish Hall.
For more information or to request a quilt call Lenore Wade at

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
"Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters..."
Holy Trinity volunteers organize many celebrations for our Parish community that mark special occasions of parish life such as our Follow the Star (our Advent celebration), our Parish Festival (celebrating the Feast of the Most Holy Trinity), and special recognition of our Parish members and clergy.
Made up of members of the Holy Trinity Parish community, our Knights of Columbus, the Guadalupana Association, Holy Trinity School and youth groups, and many other parish groups, we are always looking for new volunteers with fresh ideas. Some of our celebrations and events are set up as fundraisers to collect much need funds for Parish projects, while others are simply "fun"raisers, intended to build community among our Parish members.
knights of columbus
"the Son of Man came not to be served, but to serve"
We are Catholic men who lead, serve, protect and defend. We share a desire to be better husbands, fathers, sons, neighbors and role models and to put charity and community first.
Our History - Service and charity are at the heart of the Knights. Founded to meet the needs of immigrants, refugees and families suffering from the death of a breadwinner, the Knights began as a small service organization and has grown into a worldwide financial and charitable organization.
Our Mission - Together, we’re empowering Catholic men to live their faith at home, in their parish, at work and in their community.
Our Faith - Our goal is to help men, their families and their parishes grow closer to Christ. Through our programs and resources, we provide opportunities to live and spread the Catholic faith.

The Holy Trinity Knights of Columbus meet the 2nd Thursday of every month at 7:00pm in the Parish Hall.
